The 2014 census' data

The study of the data collected during the 2014 census allowed to know the spacial distribution and the density of the deer populations in Sardinia.

The 2014 census interested 32 forest sites and 854 deer were identified, for an estimated density of 4270 animals. A satisfactory increase thanks to the high levels of environmental quality and monitoring of the areas interested by the reintroduction’s operations.
