The first release of 29 Red Deer in the area of Castifau in 2007.


This action aims to “reinforce” the population and to improve the genetic patrimony for the reintroduction in this territory.


The partners of “big ungulates” group were informed about the reintroduction and most part participated in the operation.


Population was informed in Moltifau on the 1st of march 2014. Captures and releases were conducted on the same day from 7h00 until 16h00.
