Action D4: Monitoring of actions C4-C5-C6-C7

The aim of the action D4 is to document and monitor the environmental status’ changes in the interested areas, after the actions of the C category.

With regard to the foreseen interventions, every naturalistic information about the previous situation will be collected (habitat and species). The monitoring will be carried out both during the actions C4, C5, C6, C7 and at the end of them.

The collection of documentation and the evaluation report of the post-intervention status is in charge of the Province Medio Campidano that will collect all the materials produced during the action D4. The action will be carried out to verify the effects in the short-medium term.  In each area, photographic information will be collected to evaluate the environmental and landscape changes.  All the interventions must follow the project LIFE’s philosophy and they must comply with the general and specific goals of the guidelines life+ 614/2007, in order to guarantee the respect of the agreement signed with the Commission. The continuous monitoring will allow an ongoing review. The monitored parameters are: the percentage of completion of the C4, C5, C6, E C7 actions, the milestones, the deliverables, the expenditure and the effect on the interested species.

At the end, during the final phase of the project, a relevant report will be drawn up, which will describe and analyze the interventions’ chronology, the previous situation as well as the results achieved.
