Enhancement actions and juridical study of the sardinian-corsican deer (Februar 2014)

01 February 2014

Due to the ambiguous state of protection attributed by the French legislation to the sardinian corsican subspecie of european deer, the PNRC decided to invest part of its budget to its juridical state. They aim to obtain a specific statute of protection to the Cervus Elaphus Corsicanus in France, to elaborate a compensation's method for those farmers who suffered damages caused by the deer. This study, now completed, was sent to all the partners off the corsican Steering Committee and the different solutions will be discussedduring the meeting "Grands Ongulés".
