Life+ meeting in Ussassai on the 27th November

On the 27th of November, a meeting about the LIFE+ Project „Conservation of red deer cervus elaphus corsicanus in Sardinia and Corse“, will take place in Ussassai at 10:00 am.

Several experts will participate to the event: Dr. Carlo Garau from the Medio Campidano Province who will present the project. Dr. Andrea Murgia from the „Ente Foreste Sardegna“, who will talk about the project’s progresses. Dr. Luciano Mandas, veterinary, who will explain the phases of capture, treatment and release of deer. Dr. Paolo Avignone with the topic “Damages caused by the wildlife to the cultivations” and Dr. Piera Angela Cabras “Health’s aspects of the wildlife”.

This meeting is an occasion to inform the populations about the project’s progress.
