I partner sardi del progetto (Medio Campidano, Ogliastra, Ente Foreste ed ISPRA) si sono incontrati a Sanluri nella sede della Provincia per un incontro di coordinamento.
Tra le decisioni prese:
- approvazione del Piano di Comunicazione redatto dalla provincia Ogliastra con il contributo attivo dell'Ente Foreste della Sardegna, che ha curato in particolare il piano editoriale del sito web OneDeerTwoIslands.eu di imminente pubblicazione;
- la pubblicazione entro maggio 2013 del nuovo portale dedicato al progetto, che sarà anche lo strumento di coordinamento e comunicazione-collaborazione a distanza per tutti i partner Sardi e Corsi.
Il sito è stato realizzato da una web agency di Oristano sotto il coordinamento del Servizio Innovazione Tecnologica (Area Web) dell'Ente Foreste della Sardegna, interamente realizzato con tecnologie Open Source basate sulla piattaforma Drupal: tale scelta tecnica permetterà di risparmiare cospicue risorse economiche nell'arco nel progetto, che potranno essere reinvestite per potenziare il sistema di server ed i servizi sistemistici necessari a rendere efficienti e performanti le applicazioni web di cui è dotato il portale.
Inoltre, sempre secondo le previsioni del piano di comunicazione, sarà attivato a breve un canale YouTube che ospiterà tutti i video relativi alle attività di preogetto, con la possibilità anche di trasmettere in streaming gli eventi organizzati (seminari etc..).

En esta sección encontrarás toda la documentación e las informaciónes sobre el proyecto "Un ciervo por dos islas" (One Deer Two Islands): un proyecto financiado con fondos europeos del programa LIFE + y realizado por la Asociación de Cerdeña y Córcega (los actuadores son: Provincia de Medio Campidano, Provincia Ogliastra, I.S.P.R.A., Comisión Forestal de Cerdeña, Parque Natural Regional de Córcega).
En particular, esta sección contiene: las Acciónes planificadas, los Materiales producidos durante la planificación y ejecución (ejecución de la asistencia en el campo), datos y actividades en el Seguimiento de la especie, las finalidades que se persiguen en cuatro años y el progreso hasta la fecha, detalles e informaciónes sobre el Programa LIFE + y la Red Natura 2000, detalles y ahondamientos sobre las actividades y los resultados obtenidos en Cerdeña y Córcega.
Actividad
El proyecto se caracteriza por éstos aspectos:
- Beneficiarios son Entidades Públicas y el programa se lleva a cabo en la Región de Cerdeña (Italia) y de la región de Córcega (Francia);
- Las acciónes se proponen la conservación y la mejora de una sub-especie de la fauna siguiendo la Directiva 92/43 / CEE del Consejo, de el 21 de Mayo 1992;
- El proyecto tiene como finalidad el realizar acciónes de demostración y las mejores prácticas con un horizonte temporal a medio y largo plazo.
Acciones
Las acciónes son macro-objetivos en los que se divide la totalidad de este proyecto. Cada acción se define por una descripción técnica detallada relativa a las principales intervenciones financiadas. El proyecto LIFE + se divide, en efecto, una lista de acciónes.
Activities
The following activities are the main goals of the project.
A: Preliminary processing and management actions
B: Compensation for use of plots of land
C: Tangible conservation actions of species and habitat
D: Monitoring of actions;

F: Coordination of the activities related to project and project monitoring meetings.
Each activity is divided into secondary section.
A1 – Individuation of appropriate area, feasibility studies on reintroduction and habitat mapping in Sardinia and in Corsica.
A2 – Preliminary, Definitive and final design – Signature of the agreements between project leader and associated partners - Studies on territorial and environmental characterization supporting Sites of Community Importance (SCI) - Preliminary, Definitive and final design according to management plans direct to remove threats and habitat conservation
A3 – Genetic study of animal life in Corsica and Sardinia – One of the most important risks for the conservation of Red Deer is the consanguinity and the consequent loss of genetic variability.
A4 – Education of monitoring staff - education of staff involved in monitoring activities of new population of Cervus elaphus corsicanus in Sardinia and in Corsica.
B1 - Compensation for use of plots of land – Purchasing of plots of land are not expected. There is a compensation for land property owner.
C1 - Infrastructures and fences – it will be realized seven fences and seven turrets for capture and temporary detention
C2 – Capture, marking and radio collar wearing – Capture, marking and radio collar wearing and health checks
C3 – Creation of new population in Sardinia and in Corsica – creation of new population through translocation in Sardinia and in Corsica
C4 – Creation of ecological corridors - It will be realized grasslands to obtain feeding of Red Deer.
C5 – Creation of troughs and meadows – In order to distance Red Deers from cultivated lands it will be realized troughs and meadows.
C6 – Realization of reflectors, light signals, installation of Red deer repelling devices
C7 – Environmental improvement acts – Forestry improvement acts
D1 – Periodic population and habitat monitoring – reintroduced animals will be regularly controlled starting from the release date.
D2 – Periodic health checks – the reintroduced deers will be captured for periodic health checks.
D3 – Data collection and analysis – data are collected and transmitted via GSM at elaboration centers where are used through GIS system
